El Chalten is in Santa Cruz province, at the northern end of Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. Wellknown as the Argentine capital of hiking, ideal for trekkers and climbers, mountaineers. They will enjoy the peaks of Cerro Ftiz Roy and Cerro Torre.
Other wonderfull places are Lago Viedma and the glaciers. Parque Nacional Los Glaciares has 47 major glaciers, including Perito Moreno, the only one in the world still growing, two lakes and is a favored destination in any season.
